My Boys, My Heart

Busy, overwhelmed, busy, overwhelmed???????????

That's pretty much been how I have felt for the past month or so. Between the boys and their needs, the house and it's needs, and work and it's needs, I was run beyond ragged!! I had to tell work I needed at least a 2 week break, so that I could get a grip on life again. So, I feel like I finally have my head above water again, the house is relatively clean (if there is such a thing), and the boys are thriving as usual!

I feel like I have finally settled into a groove that is working for us in the meantime. What may work next week is yet to be determined, but for now, we are doing very well.

Wesleigh is talking more and more. It is really fun to be able to communicate with him. Now, if he would stop whining and actually use those words, we would be in good shape!! He still loves to play outside. He hates long sleeves. Loves ketchup. Loves to eat the jelly before the toast. Loves to chase the dog. Loves to tackle his brother. Loves to say "no". Refuses to listen. And still steals my heart every day!!

Ethan is growing and growing and growing!! Just within the past week, he has started stand independently and he thinks really hard about taking a step, but hasn't yet done it. He is so adventurous. He loves to follow his brother around, even if it means getting into trouble. He is definatally learning what "no" means. He has the cutest pouty lip. He loves to swing. Loves to be outside. He has learned to give kisses. They are huge and wet and perfect! He loves to eat, anything and everything in sight. He eats circles around his brother. He is perfect and precious and I love him to pieces and squeeze him every chance I get!!

So, both the boys HATE their Halloween costumes. But, tonight I managed to wiggle Ethan into his costume and get some cute pictures...

The rest of these pictures were taken over the past few weeks. Did I mention that Ethan loves to swing?? I think that every single picture I have of him for the past 3 months is in the swing!!

Playing outside

trying very very hard not to sleep in the truck with Daddy

He loves to swing on his tummy...isn't Elmo adorable.

When Ethan wakes up from nap, Wesleigh likes to go in his room and talk to him for a little while. Well, the other day, I went in there and this is what I found!! Wesleigh climbed in bed with Ethan!!

Did I mention how sweet this child is??

I love love love this baby

swingin....again...
