First Bike Ride!!

Well, while we were in Del Rio for the weekend visiting Guy and Jaedyn, they all decided to go on a bike ride. Guy, Jaedyn and Jim love to go for bike rides. Before I had Wesleigh we would all go, but that was with Jaedyn in a baby bike carrier. She has since graduated, but after Wesleigh was born, he and I always stayed behind, so it was kind of a daddy and big kid activity.

Well, this time, we realized that Wesleigh is old enough for Jim to put the baby bike carrier back on his bike, but with a new passenger!! So, he did, and a monster was created!!! Wesleigh LOVED it. Jim said that with ever pedal, Wesleigh would kick him in the butt, and he was constantly pat him on the back and pull on his shirt!! He said that he had a blast and he definately thought that he had moved up in the big kid zone to be able to go on the bike ride!!

They all had a great time and enjoyed spending quality time together. All the kids were happy to be reunited, since it had been a while since they had seen each other. The last time Jim saw Guy and Jaedyn, Wesleigh was in Beeville with me.

I made deer stroganoff which we enjoyed eating as a family on our back porch in the wonderful fall weather! On Saturday night we had dinner with our wonderful neighbors, then on Sunday we went to church and saw some of our wonderful Northside friends. Then we enjoyed some lunch, another bike ride, then it was time to hop in the car for the dreaded trip back to Carlsbad.
